How to Make Doggy Ice Cream
On a hot summer day, there’s nothing quite like the joy of indulging in a cold, creamy scoop of ice cream. But why should humans have all the fun? Enter doggy ice cream – a tail-wagging treat that’s taking the pet world by storm.
Just imagine your furry friend’s excitement as they lap up a frosty dessert specially crafted for their canine tastes. From peanut butter swirls to bacon-flavored scoops, doggy ice cream comes in a variety of flavors that cater to our four-legged companions’ discerning palates.
But this isn’t just about spoiling our pets (although that’s certainly part of the appeal). Doggy ice cream can also serve as a cooling refreshment during scorching weather, a novel way to administer medications, or even a useful training tool. As more pet owners seek out premium experiences for their beloved animals, the world of doggy desserts continues to expand and innovate.

- 3.5 oz Peanut Butter (unsweetened, no xylitol)
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Water
Instructions:
- Mash bananas: Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth
- Mix ingredients: Add the yogurt, peanut butter, honey, and water to the mashed bananas. Mix until well combined.
- Blend: Use a bender or food processor to blend the mixture until smoother.
- Freeze: Pour the mixture into ice cub trays or silicone models. Freeze at least 3 – 4 hours or until solid
- Serve: Pop out the frozen treats and serve them to your dog. Store the remaining treats in the freezer.
Notes Ensure the peanut butter is free of xylitol as it is toxic to dogs. You can substitute honey with another dog-safe sweetener, if desired.
